            I’m very disappointed with my experience with this company. I purchased a blue VW Polo on 9 October 2025. Which they have already put back up for sale at the same price I paid for (£4,999). I have taken a loss from this, which impacts me as an individual than it would do a company.

            I chose this company because of its strong reviews and because it promotes itself as a family-run business, but my experience has been the opposite.

            Within eight weeks the car developed two major faults: first with the injectors, and then the clutch cable, which failed completely while I was driving on a busy road. When this happened, the police had to attend to make the situation safe.

            When I first test-drove the car with one of the salesmen, Earl, I asked why the tyre-pressure warning light was on. He told me something along the lines of “these new cars put them on for random reasons.” The warning light has never gone off, despite me correctly inflating the tyres several times. I also raised concern about a chip in the windscreen, but instead of explaining clearly, he became defensive and almost lost the sale over it.

            The night I bought the car, the injector fault caused it to produce white smoke and drive unsafely. I was later told that only two injectors had been replaced previously when all four should have been, which suggests this could have been an issue before it was sold to me. During a telephone conversation about collecting the car after repair, I was told, “we’ve spent a lot of money on this car and that goes both ways.” When I collected the car, I was greeted with “hello trouble.” This felt patronising, and I doubt a different type of customer would have been spoken to that way. I also asked if everything else had been checked and was told there were no further issues.

            Throughout this experience, I’ve been met with poor communication and dismissive treatment.

            The day after the clutch cable failed, I called the dealership and spoke with the owner, Mr Paul Hewitt, who was abrupt and unhelpful. In one breath he agreed that I shouldn’t have been spoken to the way I had been, and in the next he said he didn’t know how I’d been spoken to. It was clear I wasn’t being listened to. This whole experience has been exhausting, and I’ve not received a single apology for the way I’ve been treated or for the repeated issues with the car. When I explained how serious the faults were, I was told they weren’t serious and that “this happens with second-hand cars.” In my experience, recurring issues don’t normally happen, and being spoken to abruptly and dismissively certainly isn’t part of buying a car or trying to have it repaired.

            Despite owning the car for only about eight weeks and experiencing two serious faults, I was refunded £400 less than what I paid. I expected far better service, transparency, and professionalism from a business that markets itself on family values. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience.

            The only positive feedback I can give is for one of the employees, Heaven-Leigh, who was professional, polite and friendly.

                                                              I purchased a car from Norwich Motor Company last week. It was made very easy by Jamie and his young lady assistant. He eased me through an online application for finance and she drove me to the post office to obtain road tax prior to us being able to drive the vehicle away. Jamie provided details of a very helpful company I could contact for adaptions which was really helpful.
