Bad customer service
Been 2 weeks since I got my carpet installed...it was one of the worst experience I've ever had...carpet is good but the installation was a mess carpet source had no idea what their installers are doing...they came to my house and asked if I had any carpet stripes..why would I have any. It was just an excuse to leave saying they need materials ..but they went to finish another job...he left his helper and the helper said he went to finish a different job...they showed up at 930 and didn't finish till 7 that night...then the installers started to sell me his services..for other projects...I was like you can't do carpet why would I hire you for anything else...I spent over 2000 dollars for a crappy experience...I will never recommend carpet source to anyone

I understand you’re unhappy with the situation, but also understand that you’ve been very tired since you haven’t been able to sleep since moving into the property because of all the noise.

I’m not accusing you of being sleep deprived, but the last time I spoke to you, you said you were extremely irritated due to not sleeping.

My perspective is a little bit different, we had our Installer spread thin that day because you needed it done ASAP so that you can start getting some sleep. We made the mistake of sending him out there without enough tack strip to do the work, so he had to go to our supply house and get some more. They ran out so we had to go to a different supply house and they had us running all over town looking for it.

He gets paid extra when he works overtime, and we don’t mind paying it if he does a great job and he did. The thing that’s upsetting you mostly is that they stayed until 7 PM, which is two hours after we close or go home. We see it as he went above and beyond and got the work done. You mentioned to me that you needed other work done, or Installer was simply offering that we as a company could do that hard surface laminate flooring for you since your parents brought it up.

I know that they were there just to open the door and observe, but they did mention it, and the installers were just offering our services since I hadn’t mentioned it to you at all.

I apologize that we came across differently than you expected, I hope you’re getting sleep now and that you continue to have a great experience with that beautiful new carpet we put in for you.

Satisfied Customer!
My daughters and I had a great experience with Carpet Source recently.
Don came to our home and was friendly, professional, and very personable. He exudes honesty and competence and gave us as good assessment and reasonable estimate.
Eppie kept in touch, letting us know the process, step by step, all the way to completion.
We used Carpet Source a few years ago and will definitely call on them again and again. They do not disappoint.

Great experience and service
My wife and I met with Don Lovato (owner of Carpet Source) and he took the time to look at our house and help us determine what we were looking for in carpet. Don was so knowledgeable and informative. He worked with us on keeping within our budget as well. We decided on a Triexta carpet and set up the installation. Don sent out his team of installers, Andrew, Martin and Patrick and they were wonderful. They came on time and got to work right away and did a fantastic job. The best choice in town!
I just wanted to thank Carpet Source for a fantastic job from start to finish on our tile project ! We are so pleased with the finished results. From sales to installation, it was a positive experience. We needed tile installed quickly to move in our furniture, and Carpet Source made sure to make it happen. Beautiful tile work
After our new-to-us house flooded, we decided to replace all flooring with wood-look plank porcelain tile. It looks beautiful. The tiler and his assistant had to replace some tiles that were not laid correctly, and now it looks beautiful. Many compliments on the floor choice and excellent work from other repair teams working on the reconstruction!

We have several homes here in Albuquerque. We have used CarpetSource for our carpeting and tile floors for several years. Don Lovato and his employees are fast, courteous and reliable. The carpeting and tile is great quality. We highly recommend CarpetSource for all your flooring needs.

It's a rare occurrence in this day and age to have an experience with a company from start to finish that is nothing less than excellent. I didn't have to drive around visiting different flooring places because I told Don I wanted luxury vinyl and he brought samples to my house. I selected Honey Oak for my 1950's home and Don agreed it was a great choice. Andrew and Martin were the installers and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better or harder working as they were. Andrew called me to let me know when they would arrive at my home to start the job. He was professional, polite and well spoken. Once they arrived Monday morning 7:45 AM they worked hard , efficiently and did an excellent job. I greatly appreciated the fact they were trustworthy and respectful of my property. My floors couldn't have been more perfect if they'd been in a new home. Thank you Don Thank you Andrew and Martin It was a pleasure doing business with you all. These people are absolutely amazing- absolute stars. I had a horrible nightmare with another place trying to get carpet in after my place got flooded and the nightmare carpet place abandoned us at literally the last minute. So, I called Carpet Source. They literally came in last minute and saved the day. Came to our place, showed us samples, went over our place, told us everything- both good and bad - that needed to be done, which was all I wanted. Not like the other place that kept adding random things like $100 here to scoot over your bed, $100 there to unplug your lamp??? Meanwhile, Carpet Source is fantastic. They are reasonably priced, they specialize in this field so they know what they are doing, their customer service is spectacular in that they both check in on you and they are honest with you. Skip the big box places - they are nightmares. My place before that abandoned me in the dead of day was Home Depot. Run from them. Just cut out stress and wasted time. Come to Carpet Source.

Don, I would like to thank you for the beautiful work and amazing experience we had from The Carpet Source. Your installer must be the best installer in the state! I am the owner of a roofing and stucco company, and I understand the importance of good clean work with great customer service, and you delivered both. The project was not small, from removing our upstairs builder grade carpet that was in terrible shape in our 7-year-old home, removing the base boards, sanding down the high spots in the wood and pouring floor level to ensure the floating wood floor would tie together beautifully. We found out the stairs were OSB (plywood) and not 2" by 10" so the installer reinforced all 16 steps with 2 landings to ensure proper installation. Besides the carpet starting to wear out, my wife started suffering from a chronic cough about 8 months ago and she was miserable! The doctors could not figure out what was wrong so out of desperation we thought maybe the dust, dirt and deterioration of the carpet was the culprit. We called the Carpet Source and Don Lovato came out and helped us choose a great product to replace the cheap carpet we had and now that the job is complete my wife has not coughed nor needed the nebulizer since! The results where instant Thank you Don! We will forever be grateful!

Went hunting for carpet scraps and these gentlemen were the politest, honest, kindest option in the city. They brought me back in the warehouse, warning about trip hazards so I'd stay safe, and dug around to find me the perfect piece. Their selection and supply looked great. I'm not normally a carpet person, but if I need some, this is where I'll come. It feels a bit hole-in-the-wall, but those are the best kinds of shops anyways. Thanks guys!

I recently purchased wood floors from Carpet Source and I would give them a higher rating than 5 stars if I could! Don Lovato the owner came to the house to measure and show us flooring samples and he was on time, very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The flooring showed up on time and the pricing was very competitive! It was convenient to have home service and not have to go to a giant store where I would have become overwhelmed. Don made the process so easy and his staff at his office was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Carpet Source and will be shopping with them again in the near future.

This was our second experience with Carpet Source in Albuquerque, and while both were good, I wanted to especially note the service of our installers on this second purchase, a man named David, and his brother, Louie. These two men arrived at our house on day one to do tear-out, and site survey and prep. They arrived on time, went straight to work, treated the slab with a product to stop animal smells, sealed cracks in the slab, and poured leveling compound. The second day they installed laminate flooring, and replaced baseboards. I especially want to mention David's work in quickly solving a problem with a heating/cooling air outlet that had a prior installer stymied due to misfitting of parts by the original house builder. He didn't consider this outside the scope of the job, but just did his work in less than ten minutes, and all is now well. Both men had friendly, easy-going spirits, and were quite pleasant to interact with. A great experience overall. Thank you, Carpet Source, and David and Louie! 😃

Beginning with our first phn call with Eppy, we had an exceptional experience with Carpet Source. Dillion is a very professional and well informed salesman, with great taste. He helped us make our carpet and flooring selection after listening to our likes, dislikes, and after looking at our home design. The installation crew was meticulous. We just had new drywall and baseboards installed and painted. Andrew and his crew made every effort to avoid damaging the work. This part of our home renovation has been flawless. The best part is, they came to us with the samples and quotes. We never had to go into a showroom or warehouse. The salesman, saw our home first hand. We'll definitely call Carpet Source again when we start our bathroom renovation! (The pictures don't do it justice) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We recently had tile floors installed in 3 bedrooms and a master bedroom closet and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome! Dillon met with us for an initial consultation and was extremely patient while we looked at a number of alternatives that would best meet our needs, preferences and budget. He met with us in our home with different samples and also at the tile supplier where we eventually dialed-in our final choice. We were able to find something that fit our planned budget and desired look. We then coordinated an install date with Eppie and he was very polite and accommodating. Jason, our installer, is a true craftsman and did an amazing job throughout what was an extensive process. His attention to detail was awesome and he did all he could to keep the worksite as clean as possible throughout the install. Thank you, Jason! We had our home re-carpeted this week by Carpet Source, and we could not be happier. Don, the owner, came to our house to measure, give us an estimate, and offer suggestions. We were able to schedule the installation to meet our schedule. The two installers, David and Gabriel, came at the appointed time, calling ahead to tell us they were on their way. They were both very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job and were a joy to be around. We highly recommend this company.

Excellent!
I had a great experience with Carpet Source, as everything went smoother than I expected, and I have nothing but good words to say about them! I had just dealt with another flooring place when I interacted with the salesperson from Carpet Source, and from the very beginning, it was a world of difference! Unlike the prior one, this salesperson listened to us and what we wanted, and he gave us a variety of options. He was prepared, which was not our experience with the other company’s salesperson. We went with laminate flooring, which was not something I had even considered until I spoke with the rep from Carpet Source. So of course we said yes, and had them do the installation as well. The three guys that did the work were just so great! They were funny, personable, very polite, and just all around a good team. Everyone from the office to their sales team to their installers were professional, and gave us a fantastic experience. They are the only company I would ever consider if I need more flooring down the road.

Installation Awesomeness!
This is my second time using Carpet Source. I was referred to them by a friend because I wanted carpeting put in my bedroom. They did such a fantastic job that I called them this second time for additional carpeting. They are first and foremost exceptionally professional. Along with the professionalism, they were warm and friendly. You feel very comfortable speaking with them, and they make it easy to talk to them. The attention to every detail and making sure they know what you want is outstanding, and that is just over the phone! Once you get to the local store this level of service and professionalism doesn’t change, it remains the same throughout. Once the crew came out, they too were very professional, pleasant, fun, and funny. They did an impressive job. From beginning to end this entire experience was outstanding!

Carpet source just completed replacing tile and carpet in my home with luxury vinyl plank flooring and installed new baseboards. it took a while to get the product in (not their fault, everything is on backorder), but through the process, they were great at communicating and rescheduling. Epie and Dillion were easy to work with. very accommodating and knowledgeable. and Andrew and his crew did an amazing job on the install. very professional, on time and really exceptional at their craft. I would highly recommend carpet source and we will be calling them again when it's time to update the bedrooms! thank you!

Conscientious owner (Don), good value for attractive carpet! Installers did a good (and fast) job, however they appeared to be contractors and left debris everywhere, even outside. I had to re-vacuum after they left as their vacuum didn't pick up many of the carpet fibers from the installation and had to throw away their water bottles and energy drink can that was left as their trash. Mysteriously my broom outside disappeared about the time of the installation, but perhaps someone else took it (?). I recommend Carpet Source but I would want to know more about their installation crew next time.

They go the extra mile for their customers!
We were very impressed with Carpet Source! We had a time frame in which we needed to install new carpet, and the factory was unable to get the carpet that we selected to us within that time frame. Don, the owner of the company, personally came out to our house and helped us pick out an alternative carpet. He even offered us a higher grade carpet at no extra charge. We thought that was awesome! His employees did an excellent installation job for us and overall, this was a great first experience with the company. We would definitely recommend Carpet Source to everyone! They will go the extra mile to take care of their customers! They are very helpful and friendly people!

Great flooring product and great job of installation!
Carpet Source recently installed some new carpeting in my home and they did a very good job. Their installation crew was very professional and they did an excellent job of making sure to leave the area clean and picked up! The carpeting itself was of high quality and it looks great! I was very satisfied with Carpet Source and I highly recommend them to everyone! They are a very professional carpet and flooring company!

The installation person was great!

My wife and I purchased a home and needed to replace the carpets as soon as possible. Every single company we spoke with didn't have carpet in stock and some even on back order. So we tried our luck and called Carpet Source and spoke with Don, who was beyond helpful and meticulously guided us through the tear out and install. Luckily, he had a higher quality product in stock and we were able to install within several weeks. Unfortunately, we were on a time crunch and couldn't wait for his team to do the install otherwise we absolutely would have had them do the work. I highly recommend you give Don a call if you want to replace your carpet. He and his team are very professional, courteous and respectful. Thank you for all of your help, Don!

Carpet Source installed 3,100 square feet of carpet for me, and it looks very good. They did a great job, and I am very pleased. The installers arrived on time and finished in a timely manner. They Made An Exceptional First Impression!
Carpet Source replaced carpet for me in my bedroom and my living room. It looks great. I saw the carpet at another place, and I called Don at Carpet Source to see if they sold it. They had it in stock, and he quoted me a very good price to have it installed. It was such an easy process doing business with them. They made it simple and straight forward. My New Carpet Looks Very Good!
I recently purchased carpet from Carpet Source, and they also did the installation. The salesman was pleasant and did a good job assisting me in my choice of carpet. The installers did a very good job installing the carpet; it looks really good. I would use Carpet Source again. My only objection was when I asked them about having two of the remnants sealed, so I could use them as small rugs. I was shocked at the absurd price they quoted me and chose not to have the remnants sealed at the edges.

Excellent installation crew!
My brother-in-law recommended Carpet Source to us and we are so glad he did. They do really good work. They installed new carpeting in our bedrooms for us and laminate vinyl in the living room, hallway and kitchen. Felix, the crew leader, was excellent! He was very patient and very professional. He made it a point to wear his mask whenever we were around and he made sure that everything was installed exactly how it should be. We really appreciate the job they did, and we highly recommend Carpet Source to everyone!

Superb Job!
Carpet Source is a great company to do business with. They installed the carpet in my entire house, and it looks excellent. The installation crew was very professional. The crew supervisor, Alex, was superb. He did a great job and was very efficient. I told the owner that I hope he is taking care of Alex because he is a great asset to the company. They all wore masks while they were in my hope and were very pleasant. I recommend them and will use them again.

Local, Affordable, & Fast!
I found Carpet Source via an online search. They had good reviews of all the others that we called, they were the only ones who didn’t have a minimum purchase amount and they were the only ones that sent someone out to give us an estimate. Terrific response from them all the way around. I had a sample of carpeting from another company and the salesman was able to find that same carpet. They came in with a good price, and we scheduled the installation. The only mixup that we had was scheduling the installer. Somehow they got us scheduled with him at noon when we had 9:00. Everything was taken care of when the office called to remind us of our appointment and we both were able to get on the same page. The installer, however, was already at another job and arrived an hour short of our scheduled appointment. Once arrived the installation went very, very good, and we liked him. He did a fantastic job without dinging anything as my husband had just remodeled this bedroom for our daughter. We absolutely love the finished product, and the prices are very good and their response time is fantastic!

Carpet Source removed and installed carpeting in my home. The coordination that they did worked great! I called them, they came out to give me an estimate, I chose the carpeting and the install was scheduled quickly. The installation guy was on time, professional, and he finished removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpet in less time than they had scheduled. I received a call after the install was complete to make certain that I was happy with the finished product, great followup. My carpeting looks great and I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting carpet installation.

Just a little hiccup- the wrong size carpet came in on the day of the install.
Had to wait additional few days before they could install the correct carpet. Overall, this is the 2nd time we have used Carpet Source and expect to use them in the future as well.
